Killer Darts Rules
An elimination game where you earn killer status, then take lives from opponents. Last player standing wins.
Setup
Each player is assigned a random number from 1 to 20. This becomes their personal double for the game.
Every player starts with 3 lives.
Killer works best with 3 to 8 players. The more players, the more chaotic and tactical the game becomes.
Gameplay
Step 1 — Become a Killer
On your turn, aim for the double of your assigned number. Hit it and you become a Killer, shown with a K badge. Until then, your throws have no effect on other players.
Step 2 — Eliminate Opponents
Once a killer, hitting another player's double removes one of their lives. A player eliminated at zero lives sits out for the rest of the game.
The Self-Hit Penalty
If you are already a killer and hit your own double, you lose a life. This creates real tension when your number is tempting to aim for.
Turn Structure
Each player throws up to 3 darts per turn. Record each dart result — whose double you hit, or a miss. Then end your turn to pass play to the next player.
Winning
The last player with lives remaining wins the game. If everyone loses their last life in the same turn, the player who still had lives at the start of that turn wins.
Strategy Tips
Target the strongest player first. Killers who are accurate are the biggest threat — coordinate to take them down early.
Watch your own double. If your number is easy to hit, you may accidentally lose a life trying to hit a nearby target.
Become a killer quickly. A player who hasn't earned killer status yet is safe but can't contribute. Prioritise hitting your double early.
Temporary alliances. Target the leader together with other players, then turn on each other once the threat is gone.
